Eircom Shankill/Bray - Slow for anyone?

We have a 7meg line. Has been like this for the past week or so. Anyone else having probs?

yea im having worse problems than you are, but im in navan and im getting terrible results for 3mb,

I am in Bray, about a mile from the exchange, on the 12Mbps/1Mbps package.

I am happy with the performance.

It went up to 6Mb earlier today, now it's back down to:

Anyone in the Shankill area having problems with Eircom for the past few weeks? Can you do a test? http://www.speedtest.net/

It's driving me up the wall.

Could be the source of the problem even if it says it should only effect us from 1am-7am.

Ah, I was wondering why it was down the other night.

Hopefully things will speed up after the 24th. I won´t be holding my breath.

Well, they seem to have done something to the Shankill exchange last night as my speeds are back up to scratch. But for how long? :eek:

Time to shift over to NTL maybe. What a pain the the feckin hole.

Contention apparently, as my line is in top shape. The recent upgrade to the Shankill exchange doesn't seem to have made any difference.
