    Hi,

Is there any - I guess - traditional pub in dublin that does good food, good drink, and has a nice big open fire. That would be really welcoming on these cold wet winter days!?

    Thanks!

This might get a better response in the Dublin City forum. You might ask a mod to move it there.

Johnnie Foxes is a great pub - a little up the mountains though!

McNeils on Capel Street, 2 fires, food through the day and trad at the weekend (i think) It's been open about a year i think but is one of my favourites for a relaxing pint. Good smoking area aswell!

Nealon's pub on Capel Street also have an open fire which they light.

It's grand, not an amazing pub but decent enough.

crossbar in harolds cross has 2 and rosie o grady's (also harolds cross) has one. rosies always burn turf so it gives a nice homely smell to the place
