Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I've never been on this forum before so please forgive me if this has been asked a million times already;

    I've just passed my theory test and been given my ''Theory Test Certificate''.
    What do I do next to ''convert'' it into a Provisional/Learner Permit?

    The woman at the test centre was less than helpful:o

    Get an application form for a Learner Permit from your local Garda Station/Post Office/library.
    Get an eye test.
    Bring (or post) all the above plus your birth cert. or passport along with your fee to your local Motor Tax Office (or whoever issues them in your area).

    Ah for gods sake what kind of bowsies are working in these test centres:eek:. You send the test cert along with a learners permit application form that you will find in your local motor tax office and 2 passport photos signed on the back and birth cert plus the fee and your present licence if you have one and send back to the motor tax office.

    P.S I think you may need an eye test, but not sure, check on the appm form.

    So if I'm sending it by post I have to enclose my actual passport? No photocopies allowed even for posting?

    Thanks for all the info!
