Senior Citizens Group/ Activities in Drogheda

    Im trying to get my mother out of the house and meet some people her age. Does anyone know of any groups/ activities or senior citizen groups meeting during the week in drogheda.

    Why dont you contact your local public health nurse, in your local health centre... She will put you in the right direction.

    I live in east meath and I know that my neighbour who is elderly is part of a senior citizen group.. she gets picked up and dropped off my bus and she loves it.. They get there hair done and all.

    There's a senior citizens action group in the workspace place on Batchelors lane.

    There is an active retirement group that meet in The lannleire pavilion in dunleer, may be a bit out of the way do< I will pm you the number.

    they go away on an outing a few times a year.
