    Hi guys

built a new I7 rig a couple of weeks ago, based around i7920 and Intel Extreme DX58S0 Motherboard

It's all worked fine up until this morning.

When you fire it up there is a bios error

"Apapter 1 Disk Information: No hard disk is detected!"

This has been there since day one, but up until today 2 second later it always started booting off the OS disk

But not this morning, I reset the CMOS, had to take out one of my 4890's to get at it.

That didn't work, and I can't get into the bios, on boot it offers the option to get into bios by pressing F2 but doesn't let me in, my keyboard is active because it's lit up, as is my mouse so normally this means the bios has seen them

Any ideas ?! would be greatly appreciated

A bios update fixed it, just in case anyone else has this problem.

First time I ever flashed a bios from USB, I was kakking myself !

    Thank Christ !:D
