    Hi
    I need to exchange about 1000 euro to dollars.Is there anywhere i can just walk in and do this as most people have told me i should have ordered?
    Surely there's somewhere in dublin city center I can do this?

    There's a Bureau de Change next to the Bank of Ireland in College green (just at the start of Westmoreland street) you could try there.

    I went to a bank in town a couple of months ago looking for dollars and was told theres a €1000 limit...I needed 2k, So I asked if I came back in ten minutes could I get another 1k? She just changed it all :-)

    You should not have much of a problem getting some in town.
