Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there .. just wondering if anyone has any info on photography course in Galway for the winter. Any info much appreciated.

    Galway Camera Club are running beginners classes. You need to be a member. Classes at Cliun Mhuire (GMIT), Wellpark Road on Thursday nights at 7pm

    Hey dnme .. thanks for the info .. much appreciated .. am gonna head there this thursday .... am just wondering.. is it that the classes begin at 7pm and the club begins at 8pm??

    Yea.
    Classes at 7pm, then club members come in around 8pm and give slide shows, technical talks etc. It all happens in the White room, Cluain Mhuire (GMIT), Wellpark rd.

    Go to main carpark, go in the big old entrance (large double doors in centre of building). Walk in through entrance, take first corridor on your right, halfwy down, there is a door on the right, go in there and you will see White room right in front of you.

    You need to be a paid up member to attend the classes. €50 or €35 for students. The woman who gives the classes (Ann) is also the treasurer, so drop in at 6:50pm, she'll be there setting up, you can join and pay her there and then.

    Photoone studios also run courses, maybe a little more advanced I'm not sure. I am planning on taking part in the new year
