    The Panel is back on, thanks be to Gawd. Let's talk about it.

    What do you guys think of the new host? I thought the show last week got kind of politically heavy at times, but that could easily have been more a result of the guest and the budget row being in the news.

    I do like the idea of having a constant host- that rotating host idea from last season was a bit unsustainable. I mean, the new dude's no D O'B, but in fairness who is?

    is it on rte 1 or 2?! when it moved to rte 1 last time it kind of stopped being a comedy show...more political, which i didnt like! who is the new host?

    The new host is someone named David McWilliams.

    The show's still pretty political, as it kind of has to be... I mean, it's topical, and currently policy and economic matters are pretty widely discussed and debated.

    I think the show is still pretty cliquey. I know that The Den had a party there the weekend and The Panel wouldn't go because Never Mind The Buzzcocks wasn't invited. A bit smobbish imo.

    OK I'm going to have to request that all of you actually *watch* the show tonight, so I'll have something to talk about tomorrow when I'm meant to be pushing paper around my cubicle.
