Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for ideas/suggestions for a lego themed morning.

We are organising community events in a medium sized rural area to promote community spirit. I decided to do a lego themed morning where kids (and big kids!) could bring and present their built lego models etc for an hour or two on a Sunday morning.

Some people are suggesting kids should be able to bring and build lego there but have to admit not convinced as can see that leading to tears!! Anyone any ideas for things to make it interesting - I suspect it will be mostly 5-12 yr olds.

The plan for now is first event would be general bring whatever you want to display thereafter maybe once a month it would be bring a lego dog, bus, house ....

    Help!!!

Try contact some of the lego reps, they usually jump at this kind of thing.

Perhaps have a few boxes of lego as spot prizes for kids just having fun and making lego. (No real competition)

Shop openings that I've been at before have been great, just setup a couple of tables and a box of misc bits they picket up from ebay or adverts or something and let the kids mess with it. The winner got to take their MOC home :)

Also contact smyths, any of the free lego toys they have with newspapers they usually have a few lying around, the can make great favours
