Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I became self employed for the first time this year and was hoping to get some basic information from more experienced people.

    (1) I work from an office in my house, can I offset some of my house bills aginst my tax liability, ESB, Gas, Phone etc? And if so is there a certain percentage of each bill.

    (2) I purchased a car 2 years ago with a bank loan, about 60% of the use of my car relates to my new business, can I offset some of my car expenses, petrol, tax, insurance, repairs, service? Even though I purchase it 2 years ago it was via a bank loan which I pay monthly, can I offset some of this loanrepayment?

Any advice at all would be much appreciated so I can keep good records as i go!!

    Many many thanks!
