Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im led to believe that the towel trick only postpones the rrod for a little while and then the console dies fully anyways.

and where have you been deirdeen? not to have heard of the red ring of death.

its a plague on all the early boxes. its caused by the console overheatign and cooking the internals. its a professional fix/trip to the bin if the console is out of warranty

google 'rrod' to get a zillion results, most of them angry rants
