Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It was NON-VIOLENT.

    There are lads getting shorter terms for almost killing people.

    At the end of the day it's only money, so all these AH Social Critics who think every sentence is too short are gonna say some thing stupid about this one!!!

    Thats it minidazzler, so if i'm going to rob some security van now non-violently and based on your evidence i'd expect less than a 3yr sentence? ;):D

    He didn't even rob it really. He just kept it.

    Noone threatened nothing bad done except he took some money that is insured.

    If he didn’t use violence he is no worse then people who try and embezzle money. The only real reason to lock people up is to protect society from these people. 3 years is enough. No one would feel scared knowing he’s back on the street.

    There are far worse people being let back onto the street in shorter time. The time is quite fitting imo. If you're a thief, you're a thief, whether it's millions or a phone, you're the same

    As above. Which is worse, driving off in a van full of cash, no one hurt, or riddling two gardaí sitting in a car behind a truck full of cash and taking none of it?

    Makes the 'Inside Man' look way to complicated, awaiting Inside Man 2 with gerard depardieu or jean reno as the cash van driver.
