I was wondering if someone could answer me this, it's always puzzled me.

How come, sometimes, when you edit a post quickly after you've posted it nothing comes up along the bottom saying "last edited..." and other times it does?

I've always thought it only come up if someone has viewed your post, and then you edit it. Not sure if that's possible though... anyone know the actual reason?

It depends on the timeframe. You have 60 seconds if I recall correctly to make any changes without that message showing.

Anything after that, you see that message.
