Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mac Mail Problems - Help!

    Hello!
    Unable to send emails from my Mac (G5 OSX 10.5.8) using Mail.

    Dialogue box says "Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator."

    Email addresses are fine (in use for years) and smtp address is good too (Irish Broadband).

    Receiving incoming emails without problem. Connection Doctor shows all is good for my 3 PoP accounts.

    Problems started on returning from overseas trip. Abroad I use Mac Pro which I upgraded to snow leopard. I also use MobileMe. The Mac Pro had issues sending mails too - using connections which had worked faultlessly for years. Had to restart it to send emails waiting in Outbox.

    Any fixes or help for me?

    Ive come across this myself, tis most peculiar :s

    All settings appear correct and the problem is intermittent!

    Thankfully it doesnt happen often and when it does I simply try sending it via another account server and one of um works, which is why ive never really searched for a solution o.O

    If you dont find an answer here, try under OS -> Mac forum.

    (Fyi, Im on 10.6 but it has happened on previous versions)
