Does Anyone Know Of A Good Manual Wire Stripper

I dont want some hnad-held variety, I am looking her to totally strip wire of its insulation for scrap and re-insulation. I have seen some ropey versions on ebay, and I have seen some very expensive versions too, even mains-powered varieties. Would be grateful for any pointers.
