Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lexmark Ink

    Hi,

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I have a Lexmark X4690 printer which uses Lexmark 4 and 5 ink. The ink seems to go rapidly and I'm looking for a low cost alternative to wasting money on €35+ cartridges. Is there an alternative cartridge that would work? Lexmark 1 and 2 look similar, will these fit?

Also how would I go about refilling the cartridges? Is it much cheaper to bring them to a refiller and who would be cheapest? I've heard homekits can be risky and mess up the printer, any tips?

    Thanks for any responses,

    P

Lexmark cartridges are ridiculous money. They suck you in with the cheap printer, then screw you on the refills. :)

We got some non-lexmark ones from photoglossy for reasonable money but they sell the lexmark ones cheaper too.
