Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The window was going down but not up.

    You can hear the motor turning when trying to put the window up.

    Rang a place (dealer) near me and all I got was it is going to be expensive but he hadn't a clue on price

    sounds like the infamous vw/seat window regulator fault. Very common failure. depending on the type used in the Ibiza, (i.e. whether the motor can be removed from the regulator, or cable asembly if you want) you're probably lookign at no more than 250-300 including labour. Again I'd need more details of your car to be more specific.
