Treating an absorbent asbestos roof ?

Hi It seems that the asbestos roof of my workshop is absorbent. When it rains a lot it develops hanging drops of water which eventually drip down. It is definitely not condensation. I was wondering if anyone knows of any brush on external treatment that will help seal it against the rain, other than paint ? Thanks
