    Does anyone have any recommendations?

My spec is in my sig and I will be playing on a 19" screen (max resolution 1400 x 900). The monitor may be upgraded soon to a 22" though.

    I've been looking at a 1GB 4870 Vapour (€140 from pixmania), a 4890 (€147 from pixmania) or a 5770 ( €153 from dabs).

    Anyone have any preferences?

    Cheers

    4890.

the 57xx are a waste of money, and it beats the 4870.

edit: and the 4890 has very good OCing capability that can put it on a par wth stock GTX285 in some cases.

You could always look into the nvidia GTX280, they seem to be coming down in price quite a bit. You would definitely be able to pick up a second hand GTX280 for around 150, keep an eye on adverts.ie

150 for a second hand 280 is not worth it, unless you really want/need CUDA.
