Loved this episode. Thankfully last week's seems to have been a rare blip. I don't know how I didn't see that little twist coming!

Anyone else really sad that Mrs. Shaw is dead? yummy!

Haven't watched season 3 online so does anyone know when it's starting on Virgin 1. Looked at the site and it just says coming soon

Supposedly in the next "few weeks"... I heard March 31st before, but obviously that was not accurate.

I'm rewatching old Sliders episodes at the moment where an old Motorola phone is able to rip holes between dimensions. I think I can overlook a little thing like that :)

One of the best episodes in a while I thought. Hopefully the Shaw/Sarah thing gives us a bit of the momentum we had coming to the end of Season 2.

I've been meaning to start watching them as well. Awesome show. This episode was great. I'm loving chuck. To thing this thing nearly got cancelled.

and its gonna be ridiculus that well have to go throught it again, then again and probably then again for the next few years, i think they badly need to have a look at the rating system, cause i find it hard to believe this show has so little support, i mean it has more or less everything you would want from a comedy/drama/action show, its smart and original, and is great entertainment, and has more than held its ground these last 3 years in what is a very packed and competitive monday evening schedual on american tv,

Yup. It's a pretty flawed system all right.

Excellent episode... 3 week break sucks though...
what, these breaks are killing me, every show on seems to be takin 2-3 weeks if not month breaks,

excellent epsiode, i thought it was gonna be stupid but shaw was one devious SOB, what was he up to when he pulled a gun on sarah at the warehouse what was the point of that, if he wanted to get her to paris,

i dunno about the whole morgan joining the team, how is that gonna work,

and yes its about bloody time:D, like the little james bond thing also, ignoring the general, brilliant :D

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,353 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

God i love this show. Consistantly brilliant. Another excellent episode, and finally a happy ending for Chuck and Sarah. I dont mind the 3 week break, as what we saw there was originally supposed to be the end of season 3 (afaik). Wonder what they will do with only 6 episodes remaining in season 3.

    EPIC EPISODE!!!!

this has to be the best 4 minute opening of an episode ive ever seen :):) love the way morgan always help (pointing out shaws fake kicks)

    glad shaws finally dead, and
    chuck pulled the trigger
    :eek::eek::eek:
cant wait till the next 6 episodes so we can see morgan and casey back in action :):)

    oh and
    chuck finally got laid????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,397 ✭✭✭✭FreudianSlippers

Seriously one of the best episodes in ages - if this doesn't bring the ratings back, I don't know what will!

I especially liked the way they brought Casey back. I thought it would be stupid if they tried, but this way actually worked and was funny.

Bugger. Read this thinking you were talking about last weeks episode and ruined this weeks episode for myself. I'm a sad panda. :(

Another season-finale-ish episode? Whats that? 5 in a row?

The thing is, after such an epic arc (and with its sagging ratings), are we going to look back and wish that was the final episode?

It would have been a perfect ending, wouldn't it?

Yeah, that really did feel like the end of the season, that ep *was* a season finale. Im guessing the whole make Morgan a spy thing was added after they found out about the extra episodes in an effort to stretch out the season. I highly doubt the remaining episodes will be as good as these last few.

Excellent episode - all it was missing was Awesome. And Chuck and Sarah - FINALLY!

Among the many things I loved was the fact that, when Shaw did the roundhouse kick, I was scoffing at home thinking "that was a crap bit of stunt work, it didn't look real at all". Oh me of little faith!

Anyone else get the feeling that the writers thought that this was going to be the last Chuck? They wrote their 'happily-ever-after' ending when they were told they got a 13 episode season so probably wanted to resolve everything. Now they have six episodes left [and hopefully more] to continue the story when it seems to have been resolved.

Floating away face down with large red bullet holes in his chest wasn't enough for ya?
I dunno.... kids are so skeptical these days.

Now watch this come and bite me in the ass before the end of season.

That's the problem I thought you were talking about last weeks spoilers so I read them. Don't worry about it man, it's not your fault, just my own stupidity.

I read another part that seems to back my theory up besides him being Superman. The chuck makers said that Routh will appear in a couple of the last six episodes. ;) Granted this could be a flashback or chuck's guilty visions. Wouldn't be the first time a character supposedly dies but turns out that they weren't as mortally wounded as believed. Also, was it just me or was Beckman extremely irresponsible in this episode?

When Chuck called from castle with information about shaw. She just got pissy and didn't even bother listening to his information.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,137 ✭✭✭✭Stark

Chuck and Sarah get it on. Fade to phallic symbol. It's just the ending we always hoped for.

I hope Routh isn't back for the last few episodes. A better actor would have rocked those last 30 minutes once the mask slipped and the bad guy beneath was revealed. Routh just came across as wooden as he had been up to that point.

Great episode indeed and would have made a fitting season (series?) finale. I really wonder what they're going to do for the remaining six episodes now and if they leave things open ended, we better get a season 4...

thats because it was 3 in the morning and chuck had broken the law by bringing morgan into castle!!!!

The ridiculous timing annyoed me in this. Chuck just magically teleports to the warehouse at the beginning and again to the bridge in Paris... Other than that I was convinced I'd misread somethign and this was the season/series finale.

Gotta love Chuck, the show is so full of holes and ridiculousness but its still such a great show to watch.

Agree with everyone else about the last couple of episodes now, should be interesting to see what they do.

New Chuck episode on tonight - I am just imagining how funny "Casey must train the newest member of the team - Morgan" is going to be!!

Oh and a bump to get back to page 1 :D

I have a feeling that, while the next 6 episodes will be good, they wont live up to the previous few. It just felt like the entirety of season 3 was leading up to the finale a few weeks ago.

I'll still love it, as i've loved it since day 1. But i'm a small bit worried that they wont really know what to do with these few episodes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

I really enjoyed the new episode - some fantastic bits in it and I don't think the quality has dropped whatsoever... Sad to see Ellie and Awesome go though...

  • Moderators, Education Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 35,162 Mod ✭✭✭✭AlmightyCushion

Good episode but it was ridiculously un-believeable at times and the characters actions were stupidly unrealistic. I understand you have to suspend believe a little for shows like this but that breakfast scene just didn't make any sense. There is just no way in hell any man would choose food over some sexytime with sarah.

Seriously though, it was a good episode. Shame to see awesome and ellie go but it was worth it to see more jeffster.
