I need to get flowers sent to the U.K to a relative who lost her husband.

No all these will do overseas delieveries, you are better off looking for an interflora florist, there are hundreds on the golden pages website

My mam uses the one up in Sundrive next to th Superquinn, never a bad word from her, and afaik it's an interflora. Granted it's not Dublin 8 but it's only down the road.
