Corkonians may not be aware that there is a wine show taking place tomorrow and Saturday in the Clarion, a collaboration between three of Cork's independent wine merchants.

I don't work for any of the companies involved (or any company, for that matter!) but I am interested in seeing successful Cork wine events take place, so that more might happen here in the future.

Anyway, here is the website -> http://goodwineshow.com/

And you can win a ticket (worth €15) here -> http://bit.ly/i1rdG

Do you think there is a good chance of me getting well sauced on this €15?

I go to the rochestown park thing every year and get dolally ;)

I'm going to both days of this - I'm really looking forward to it.

I've been to tastings held by two of the three companies and they were great - fantastic wines and they can all put on a show.

It's not just wine either - they'll have foodie stuff too!

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can get wasted at it, as long as you're well-behaved and order loads of Christmas cases from them ;)

I forgot about the food! But yes, that'll be there too.

Don't forget, enter the competition to win a free ticket (people seem slow enough to answer what's an easy question, so the odds are good!) -> http://bit.ly/i1rdG

Even if you already have a ticket, you can tout it outside the Clarion on the day. I hear they'll be going for €500+ .
