Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mechanic in D10/12/22

    I'm looking for a reputable mechanic in the Dublin 10/12 or 22 areas.

    I'd rather use a mechanic than a dealership as the dealerships are usually more expensive but I don't want a rip off merchant either. I used to bring my car back home to the local mechanic but can't do that anymore.

    Any recommendations would be a appreciated.

    We use them for a load of stuff through work, and I know we aren't the only Fleet company doing so. Reasonable, Reliable and Honest.

    worked for large for a large dealer in D12 area until a few mths back..we used among others some smaller select operators which were as good (often better than) as main dealer crowd..anyway, smallish place called MotorCo..chap that runs it (with his dad and brother - 3 gens of mechanics!) is Mick - he's ex-Hyundai/Volvo main dealer tech as well as being trained specifically in Renault stuff...I got him to do work on my own cars (incl. my Lexus Ls400)- he's genuine, prices are keen, the work is good and he likes dogs..I think that counts for a lot in people, in general! You'll find him off Kylemore Road. If heading towards ballyfermot R/about, it's the next left AFTER Leabra Park, into an industrial estate..down the road a bit, on the left..sign on the gate is yellow with black text..
