The table where he got to >1 million he had about 800k to BT's 200k for a quite a while so just another 200bb pot. Lots of suckouts from Isildur, the guy is just sick tho, crushes jungleman and then str8 into a plo match with BT.

I've read in a few posts that peeps are sayin should Isildur go bust then he'd have no shortage of takers to stake him, would any1 really want to stake him with the way he plays? A damn big risk

Its human nature to always want more, to move up levels and be the best. Will to be the best is what gets these guys to the top in the first place. Most people are hardly going to say, meh I'm doing ok at 100nl I'm not going to move up and try to improve the same way these guys won't say that about 5knl.

Yeah i understand about wanting to excel and become a better poker player.
why would you play lower when you can beat a higher level? i don't think it has anything to do with what you said, just more hourly rate. and chances are they wouldn't get any action at those stakes anyway.

Why play lower? Im not the best person to know about online im just coming up with my own thoughts and questions.

One of the biggest things i see would be having a huge advantage over these smaller games, opening up to a different player pool, play some games now and again and pick up a 100k + to add some money to your roll. Would you not see this an advantage?

From following what has been said in this thread, there has been players that have been beating these games but wont sit down with Isildur, they would rather go off and pick up some easy money off somebody else.

You mean that if someone beat him over 50k hands they would get $1.5m fom him & isildur took over 3 times that off him in less than 50k hands? Blows it out of the water alright.

The next happy hour is in 60 minutes. The last 60 haven't been bad for Hastings. This is kinda painful to watch.

isildur quit for a bit there but is back on... I know I'm gonna check this tomorrow and he'll be back up. He owes it to poker, it's good craic again checkin out the high stakes since he came along.

PA, cole south, townsend are all queuing up to play isildur1......i think at this rate there will be nothing left of him

It's mad.. The waiting list is crazy. I hope Isildur doesn't go bust.. he's the only thing that creates such massive games.

His FT role is almost gone as he's been breaking stacks and not auto topping up and now he is only playing 4 tables as he doesn't have enough to spread six.

He just quit before the impending Busto!

  • Registered Users Posts: 101 ✭✭NuttKicker

restarted the 4 tables but with 100k on each this has got to be painful jungleman12 might get pleasure from this since isuldur broke him earlier

he needs to take a break!

    He's getting murdered.

Is it just me or does he have kind of heroic Robin Hood esque status?

EDIT: Brian Hastings up ~ $4m in last 24 hours

lol, you have to love the degeneracy.

He breaks the 200k stacks across 4 tables so he can start again with 100k stacks spread across 6 tables - <3

someone out there obviously hand grabbing the whole affair.

I'd love to see Isildur's graph and EV line, playing as high variance as they have been
