    Hi all,

Looking for a suggestion for somewhere casual to bring my parents and kids for a leisurely late lunch at the weekend - will be based in Carrigaline that day but happy to travel a reasonable distance. Doesn't have to be a restaurant but would prefer not to be a pub - a lounge type environment with good food would be perfect. Any ideas please?

If you like Italian food, Ristorante Romano in the Owenabue Mall is amazing, never had a poor meal...East Village in Douglas is also nice...a good idea is to look up menupages.ie and search town/food/family friendly etc and also shows any specials available...hope that helps! :)

Farmgate in Midleton or GoGos in Ballinlough (Douglas side).

Carrigaline - Middleton is not a short distance. Douglas would be a good idea. Eco's is great or you could head to Bullys or east village.
