    Hi,

we've been railroaded by a combined council/local developer effort to rezone a nearby cottage as commercial. But we have managed to fight back by uncovering cerain documents which make the whole thing look very dodgy. The councillors know we know but claim the site can not be returned to residential zoning as its part of the town plan.

They also argue to dezone would invite legal action from the property owner...a councillor who stepped down!!

The councillor had been refused planning permission for a shop there before he applied for zoning!

The developer keeps sticking in applications for a three storey monstrosity.

Does anyone know if the council can dezone a site like this?
