Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do ye think - a new Skoda Superb Greenline for about €26,500 or an imported 08 2.0tdi elegance with leather and all for the same money?

Is the latter car the new model, yeah? If it is then I would make sure that I was either getting it at a 2010 price or wait until the new year.

The Greenline is very basic anyway and has that old rattly VW Pump Duse engine, so I probably would go for the used model.

Yeah new model alright, might be able to get an 09 for the same money in January seems to be a good few available in the UK. It's mostly the 1.9 that the garages here seem to have.

Wait until January then. They seem to be a great car, my only word of advice is to avoid that dreaded 1.9 TDI engine.

Just is a bit past it compared to the newer units. Plus 105 brake in a car the size of a superb wouldn't be enough. OP, look out for 170 brake one as its a common rail unit unlike the 140
