Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

3gp converter, some help?

    Hi, I'm looking to watch more movies on my phone and what I'd like to do is convert them from DVD to 3gp. Anyone know a good converter? Preferably one that's open source.

    Try "Super converter" - don't know the website offhand, but if you google it, it should be the first that pops up. I had the Family Guy film on my phone which I converted using it. Not 100% though if it lets you convert from DVD, you may need to rip the DVD first. Oh and it is freeware

    3GP Converter is listed as freeware on: videohelp.com

    They're a site that would not host dodgy software. Not sure if it is open source, but might contain some flavour or GPL.

    WinFF (GPL3), free and safe, will also convert to '3gp' and '3g2'.

    I've tried a couple of them and the FormatFactory seems to work best. It gives the option to increase the output volume by a couple of db, it's bluddy quick also!
