Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you ever look at it?

Why is the audio silent during the ads?

I still dislike Aine Lawlor but love Susan Jackson.

Des has really piled on the weight.

All in all I like it, I wish more of the RTE radio progs had it.

    yes.

Most webstreaming shows don't broadcast the ads, to do with copyright and stuff like that I think

They could leave the sound on in the studio :)

    That I'd like.

Always wonder what they say before and after the TV news?

I'd imagine some of the stuff they say when the microphones are off could land RTÉ in court.

If you mean during the intro music when you can see them talking to each other before they go live?

Just muttering nonsense to each other.

BTW, one of them got caught out a while back on the Six-One. Just saying a string of random words. "Cabbage. No way. I prefer tennis" or words to that effect.

So I gather, which you have to say is utterly pointless. I don't need to feel that the presenters are coming off the back of a chat before they read me the news.
