Sounds sad but im away from home and get back on the 22nd of Dec, so the best present for me will be seeing all my friends and family!

Other than that i would really really REALLY like to wake up to find a slick new car outside my drive :)

    Nice!

Word of warning though - Don't buy Louboutins from anywhere else but an authorised stockist (Brown Thomas etc) or the official website.

There's hundreds of knock offs floating around and people trying to rip you off, so if you want the real deal, don't take the chance.

A fun night with the missus is all I ask for, we decided that this year instead of spending a lot on presents for each other (last year she got me a Wii and I bought her a load of Benefit makeup and girly smelly bath stuff which she loves) we'd have a budget of 20 quid each and just get each other something silly and fun and spend time with each other instead of worrying about gifts, its a ton of pressure off tbh, we're both on less money, shes part time and in college and I'm strapped as well.

So after a bit of fishing around on ebay I bought her a vintage 1983 Rainbow Brite doll, we were talking about childhood toys one night and she was always annoyed she doesnt have any of hers as they were all given to relatives/charity/thrown away etc. so i figured every girl no matter how old should own a dolly, and it was even within the budget :) also plan on cooking her something nice and having a relaxing night at some stage over xmas, share a bath, some mulled wine, thrown on a few xmas flicks, cant wait :)

    Your mammy is class! :)

To be honest, after the year we've had, I don't care about the presents, I'll just be happy to be with the people I love.

(I'll still be giving presents, Clarins Hand Cream is going to my sis and mum by special request; but they won't be the be all and end all)

That sounds so great! We've reduced our budget this year too, it's doubly bad for him because I'm a christmas birthday :o

I am heading to Boston for my xmas shopping this year. So have told the oh not to bother buying anything for me.

But I think we will book a lil romantic break away for the two of us without the kids in the new year..

    Time alone together!!

Can you rephrase that for a clueless luddite? :o

The issue is that despite it being a great idea, the technology doesn't really work.

You'll end up spending all your time trying to find an empty part of the FM band to have your ipod play over and it will always just be fuzzy and crap sounding.

For things like this a direct wire connection is always preferable. Maybe think about getting a new car stereo that has an Aux In line and just hook up the MP3 player that way... sound wuality would be much better...

    These!

I have perpetually cold feet and these would be perfect! Luckily I've told him about them already. If you don't ask you dont get!

My family has cancelled christmas this year, Just the present part. It works out for all of us as we do nothing but buy eachother things all year! But we still have christmas day and the yummy dinner :)

I don't actually want any thing for Christmas, I'd just like to spend a nice day with my family with no arguing. That's about as likely as a snowball surviving Hades. I'll settle for the day with family.

The equivalent of an i-trip for my non Apple mp3 player - you know, a yoke that plays my mp3 player through the car radio.

The easiest option for that is a headphone to headphone cable which you'll find in most electronic stores, this plugs into the headphone jack of your mp3 player and the Aux in on your car stereo. Tried to get an image for you but i couldn't get it small enough to post here, basically its a cable where both ends look like your headphone connection. If you google Aux in Cable you'll see what i mean :)

Hi, yeah....I got a dress from it about a month ago, they dont have a shopping cart yet but you email them to buy something and pay through PayPal. They said the cart wont be ready till the New Year.

I know, its so pretty! Think I'll give myself an early present and get it myself :)
