    Hi
Just noticed on the Eircom site that they are advertising the broadband Business starter as up to 8Mb download speed and upload speed of 800 kbps.

Does this mean it's ADSL2 as compared to the 7MB home advanced?

This is the new version of the Eircom Business Starter which was previously 7.6Mb down / 672 kbps up. The eircom website is not clear on whether this product is now an ADSL2+ product, so I would strongly advise on checking this with eircom first before proceeding.

I got a general reply saying that only some lines qualify for ADSL2
