Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

    Thinking of getting one after christmas just wondering if anyone has one and what people think about them

    The one im thinking of getting is a 05 or 06 model

    I have the 04 model, great work horse. I have taken it around the clock during the course of ny commutte. The only problem I have found with them is the exaust guard has a tendency to rust away. I needed a new exaust at about 80k [the guard on that one went at 50k], about thirty k later the guard went again. However, I noticed it falling off this time as oppossed to losing it on the road the first time. So a couple of jubliee clips will sort that out.

    Other wise I have had no problems with it, and when that one dies I will consider getting another. I has a transalp as a speare but find little difference that the body size. The are not many of them around so that makes it difficult to get used parts.

    I've always wanted one. I think it would be great for city driving in Dublin.

    When did the face-lift model come in ??

    With the 05, though I think the added a few changes in 08. My commutte is a mixture of both and they are a great bike for.
