    My Custom job
Vie been watching here on boards.ie for a long time
now and only recently decided to sign up. I took the
decision when I saw my own rifle being talked about
on a previous thread titled "Custom Builder". Anyway
here it is in the pictures below from start to finish. It
started life as an OK .22-250, its now an absolutely
unbelievable .22-250, the picture below shows a group
I got this week at 300 yards in less than ideal conditions,
15mph wind, heavy rain and off a bipod. To say I’m happy
with the job would be a very big understatement, I’m over
the moon. Its a Remington 700 stainless LVSF,
1.25 inch straight heavy barrel 1 in 11 twist by Border Barrels,
over sized Tubb recoil lug, the action and bolt were blueprinted,
lugs lapped, Custom after market trigger and Accuracy international
chassis system. The AICS had to be worked on in order to take the
oversized recoil lug. He polished the barrel to a chrome finish as the
finish on these barrels is just ok when there in the blank state. I
immediately ordered a full custom build the next day after I saw what
this thing was doing, the next one is going on a Stiller custom action
and should be ready fairly soon. Ill put up some shots of that too when
I get it. I wish to thank Fergal at Ireland Custom Rifle for this great piece
of work and I wish him every success for the future.

Sorry having trouble uploading rest of images. Still going through diff ammo to see what rifle likes but at 300 in less than ideal conditions shes doin sub 3/4" with 55gr hornady and federal. Im sure that ll shrink more when barrel is ran in after 100 or so rounds at the momemt there are only 40 or so gone through it including the critical 20 running in period

    Congrats Customrifle
Had a good look at this on range Saturday and its even better looking `in the flesh”!
A credit to Fergal who seems to be getting some good press here and elsewhere lately.

I can concur that conditions on range were not ideal.
That damnable wind couldn't decide what it wanted to do. Most inconsiderate!
3/4inch groups with the blustery conditions straight out of the albeit custom box at 300. NICE!

I rang him this morning to order a trigger for my Sako that he salvaged earlier this year, it was shooting all over the place till he got to work on it. A mighty man IMO.
