Maestro securecode - what is this?

    Wanted to buy something online tonight from an irish site and wanted to pay with my laser. But couldn't - it said something containing the words: maestro securecode. Whats all this about? Bought plenty of things online before using my laser. It would be so much more handier to buy online and get it delivered to the door instead of going out shopping.
