Hello guys,

Could someone from Dublin please post results for Magnet ADSL broadband, say at around 7-10pm?

I just resigned from digiweb as instead of 8Mb was getting 1-2Mb and wonder if Magnet are decent.

Don't know much about connection speeds but been trying to skype and it kept telling me that my internet speed connection was too slow to support video so did this test thingy.
Meant to have an 7 or 8Mb..............

Any advice on what to do..

Why am I getting massive pings on speedtest.net and lower pings on the upc website???:mad: Pingtest is ok aswell but its unable to test packet loss

The speeds however good are variable with traffic level .I have 16+- but they're working locally i wonder will it get better and stabilize?Sometimes as low as 7.

I just joined Eircom last week and I'm supposed to be on the 8MB NGB. I'm not doing any downloading or anything but it's still so bloody slow :mad:

Anyone know what the problem could be ? Is Eircom broadband this slow in the Lucan area ?

im having a similar porblem in the knocklyon area, speed is stuck at below 4Mbs per sec on 8mb line. Bloody eircom

We normally get around 3.7 on our Vodafone line - all this week it's been down around 2.5, and that's daytime as well as evening.
