    Derek Murray just won event # 24

    Congrats to Derek who won $125k with a classic performance. ALso did a smart bit of biz 3 x handed.
    Original prize pool 1. 152k 2. 101k 3. 72k
    Deal
    Derek 113k
    2nd in chips 101k
    3rd in chips 96k

    Additional 12k and 5k for 1st and 2nd.

    what were the stack sizes when that deal was done? seems like the chip leader at the time got a very raw deal (unless all 3 were equal)

    Great Result - and fair play for beating Christina Lindley heads-up

    Would you have been so tough Heads-Up against her if you had seen her Lingerie Modelling photos? Nice contract she has with PokerStars.

    He had a big chip lead going into the final table (13m) - 27% of chips in play. His KJ v AA against the short-stack to flop QQJJx was a good start.

    Boltsva's play with 66 on a 942r board was a bit dodgy. Ran straight into Derek's A9 to knock him out in 8th place and give Derek a bigger chip lead (18m) - 37% of chips in play.

    7th place went out with A7 v 55 on 753 flop
    6th place went out with K6 v KJ. Winner Christina Lindley
    5th place went out because of 66 v KK hand. Winner SNG Ninja
    4th place went out with Q7 v A4. Winner SNG Ninja

    3 remaining made the deal referred to earlier
    Then Derek took out SNG Ninja with QQ v K8 and was 2-1 chip leader going into heads-up. He slowly increased it to 5-1, before Christina shoved her KJs into his AJo. The final board was T82T5.

    Well done again.

    ?? doing a deal on chip ratios favors the chip leader, how can you think locking up 12k over the second money with more to play for is bad business
