Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What Digital Camera?

    Hi all,

    With Christmas fast approaching, I've decided to look at getting the other haf a digital camera as she's badly missing one since her old one broke last year.
    I've been looking at various reviews but there's such a selection out there that I've no idea what's better than another.

    Unfortunately money is tight so I'm looking for advice on a decent-ish 10/12 MP camera that's light, easy to use and costs about €200-250 either online (Komplett/elara/amazon etc) or bricks n mortar.

    Can't believe Christmas is nearly upon us! What type of camera are you looking for? Is it compact/bridge/dslr/etc?

    Actually, before you answer that, first thing I would do if I were you is read this thread:

    It's very useful and will probably get you asking us the right questions. Once you've had a gander through that, and have maybe narrowed down your selection we're obviously more that happy to try advise where we can.

    If you want a compact:
    Panasonic ZS1 (TZ6 in Europe) from Ebay for £148 or €165 with delivery. It's €300 in store here.
    12x optical zoom!
    nice features
    small enough to carry around with you.

    The ZS1 and 3 (TZ 7 in europe) models are very similar, the 3 has HD video recording, .5 inch larger screen etc. but costs a fair bit more
