    That TV certainly sounds good, however as I am now currently looking for a 32" LCD tv I have done quite a lot of searching.

    First of all:

    There is a differnce between HD and TrueHD.

    HD is 720p while
    TrueHD is 1080p

    While this TV on richersounds is a 1080p and is quite reasonable priced it is nothing compared to this:

    This is a 32" TrueHD, price inc. VAT and Delivery to Ireland works out at 315 euro.

    Also after my initial worry about how good Foehn & Hirsch where, my fears where calmed after reading reviews.

    Cant say I've ever heard of that brand.....I'd be cautious of it.....
    The TV in your link is an HD ready TV as the 32PFL5404H but has a very low contrast ratio compared to the 5404.

    TrueHD is actually an uncompressed Audio format by Dolby and isnt related to image/resolution - I guess you mean FULL HD, (either way you are technically right in your original statement- they are different!!!)

    It is a 16:10 ratio screen as well which leads me to believe its panel started life destined for PC monitor use.

    I'd want to see it in action before I parted with my hard earned cash.

    Anyway my two cents worth
