    Hi guys, I currently play for Shamrock Rovers Hoops. I would like to advertise some of the games we have coming up and maybe generally provide an update of how things are going in the club if there is some interest here in the forums.

    We have a game vs UCD/Marian on Thursday at 7:30pm in the Basketball Arena. Prices are very reasonable and we would appreciate the extra support at the game.

    We started off with a tough schedule and lost 4 in a row in the league, since then we are currently on a 2 game winning streak we want to make 3 games on Thursday. We beat last seasons Cup and League Champions UCC Demons away and Moycullen in the 1st Round of the Cup away.

    Anyone here interested in swinging by for the game or future fixtures.

    Game Tickets are usually:
    Adult €8
    Child €4
    Family €20
    Student €5

    As a special offer to Boards.ie we are only charging Adults the cost of a student ticket so Adults are just €5!!! Just come along and say you heard from Boards.ie.

    Also each ticket will receive a gift for €60 off the price of Team Gear, this has been provided to us by QV Sports.

    for those that are wondering where the basketball arena is:
    national basketball arena

    77a will leave you at the front games.

    65, 65b, 54a will leave you at the tallaght/m50 roundabout. stop just after the roundabout heading towards tallaght. cross the road and walk straight into the back entrance to the arena.

    Shamrock Rovers Hoops Basketball Club were very unlucky to lose to UCD/Marian on Thursday. Hoops lost 69 - 60 despite holding a 6 point lead at regular intervals during the game along with the lead after 3 quarters. Unfortunately Hoops couldnt complete a 3 game winning streak and fair play to UCD/Marian who never quit to claim a victory away from home.
