Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just had a look at a Mondeo. Its a 99, 1.6 taxed till March, Nct to 2011, new clutch. He's looking for €1600. There's 120,000 on the clock but all I want is a runaround, somehtig to keep me going. What do we think? Yay or nay?

Overpriced at €1,600 IMO, sounds like he's trying to get the cost of the clutch back in the sale price.

About €800 it would be a fairly decent motor. I had a 96 1.8 that just ran and ran. Think I got about 38,000 miles between services once with no issues :o

The car is taxed till march and Nct till 2011. When you go looking for a car you will often find that to get a good car you will have to pay a reasonable sum.

It's worth maybe 850 in my eyes....It's had it's day though, although comfortable car as an everyday runner..They are very well trimmed cars esp ghia models. 120k on a car is not much these days, it's not the 80's anymore it should run alot higher then that.. I would not pay 1,600 in a zillion years for it..

€1600 is expensive for a 99 Mondeo. Here is a 01 newer shape model for less than €1k more:
