    Just wonder is there any such thing like an Irish Poker awards, run by a magazine etc...


    If there isn't who would you nominate in the following categories based on 2009 performances of Irish/Northern Irish Players ?

    Live
    Tournament Player of the year in Ireland only?

    Cash Player of the year in Ireland only?


    Online
    MTT Player of the Year?

    Cash Player of the Year?

    Others

    Female of the Year?

    Best Newcomer of the Year?

    International Performance of the Year?


    Its a bit of fun, be interesting to see which names keep popping up.

    Well seeing as the nominations come from Boards users and the Awards themselves are decided by a vote from Boards users we mods really have minimal input into the whole thing apart of course from actually spending the time to organise it. What exactly do you do apart from moan and be a smart arse?

    I suppose I really should write something in capital letters and throw in some random rolleyes smileys here to show my feelings and disdain but I really cant be arsed.

    well to be frank u are the pain in the ass of most of us down here because of your so called moderation .
    for a moderator i find u the most distasteful with your selective jibs at cork people and to be honest i really don't give a ******ass about what u say as it never has any real substance most of the time outside from been rude to us cork people .

    I can't believe that the moderators on here get free IO tickets and other perks and haven't the decency to run a fair competition for the benefit of all Irish poker players.

    Fair play Corkie for calling them on it. This bias is WRITTEN IN STONE around here.

    I seen you have the boards award but they are slightly different to my original thread. Am i right in thinking that the boards award only includes posters on the forum?
