Hi all, Was wondering if i got it right, I read theres a 5k run and u enter in the nationalist on the 27th? Can any1 clarify? I'm very keen in entering a 5 k run (1st timer) so if I got this completely wrong does any1 know of a run I could enter in the surrounding areas? Cheers ears

I was just on nationalist web site (Doh, shuda went there first I guess!)

It's on the 6th December. Last registration 27th Nov.
I'd need 8-10 wks to train as I cant run for more that 5 mins!

So if any1 knows of another, preferably, in Jan I'd love to hear!

Try asking on the athletics forum here
If you use the search function you should find plenty of training advice there or you could try this couch to 5k training plan.

BTW what has the flashy sign got to do with 5k runs?

Hey foundry, yeah the sponsorship cards were being given out in Superquinn there a while back for the 5k fun run
I think you can still get them in the Nationalist office..
