    You just reminded me, i only have the first one(smoke alarm).

    I do need to get a first aid kit and the fire stuff, just never got around to it.

    Don't need Fire Escape Ladders though as i'm on gnd flr in apt block but I do notice there are no escape ladders for apts above me. Is it just me or this is not common in Irish apt blocks?

    Aren't houses meant to have 2 smoke alarms fitted? I know most insurance companies ask for it

    New properties are meant to have 3 sensors wired to the mains (no batteries required). Preferably two smoke and one heat detectors.
