Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

Would anyone know of a weather service that gives the chances of snow on Christmas day?

Not sure myself but I'd say it'll be a dead cert for Snow in the Artic Christmas day and the odds would be pretty ****e :P

Do you mean snow falling from the sky or snow sticking to the ground? According to the Climate of Ireland, Dublin Airport has a mean number of 0.4 days in December and 1.5 days in January, when snow was reported on the ground at the 9am obs. I think that's the bookie's criteria. But they're 1951-1980 figures.

So, say 1.9 days out of 60, your odds are about .032, or around 30 to 1. Of course, with climate change and the reduced number of frost occurrences, they might be greater.
