Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I speak of course about Nick Fry.

    Useless as a team Principal.
    Useless as a CEO.
    No commercial success.
    No inspiration.
Claims credit where none is due.
If Ross and Norbert want to secure their future, they'll look to show him the door.
Ross has managed to turn the engineering side of the team around.
But the management side of things has been a joke. They have utterly failed to capitalise on the the media attention, failed to get any sponsors, failed to sort out their drivers, and show absolutely no vision or drive. They've launched a website for their windtunnel, for god's sake, evidently hoping that some interested customer with hundreds of thousands burning a hole in their pocket will trip across it. They don't seem to have any sort of commercial nous, or connections, at all.

Brawn have limited money next year.
No sponsors in 2007,2008,2009 (to speak of), and nothing for next year.
Failed to keep their #1 driver, losing massive amounts of media, attention, commercial possibilities. Even if they thought he was ****, they needed to keep him.

Ross, look to your right and do a cost benefit analysis.

His voice is almost identical to that of Richmond from The I.T. Crowd.

He's just one of those professional bullsh*tter types, commonly found in the business world. A bit like Craig Pollock or that Simon Gillett bloke from Donington. Absolutely no motorsport pedigree at all, and no talent for anything other than self-promotion. When he eventually does get ditched by Mercedes, he'll just bluff his way into another "CEO" job elsewhere, probably not even in motorsport at all.

    ........ Guy Smiley!

The only difference between the two being the fact that Nick Fry is the bigger muppet! :D

Looks like Pitpass is on board with the Nick Fry incredulity too:

One of the most instantly dislikeable people I've ever come across. Was glad to see him fade into the background this year.

Another example of why Ross Brawn >>>>> Nick Fry:
"But it doesn't make sense to employ a driver who would not be happy and sees a bigger challenge somewhere else.
Further negotiations would have been pointless.

"Jenson obviously wanted to be in the same car against Lewis Hamilton," he said. "That's brave and I have to respect it."

Versus Fry's worthless "we won't release him til next year as he's got commitments to us".

What ****ing commitments? Fry has lined up absolutely no marketing whatsoever for the short time he has the world #1 in his team. No sponsor days, no media, nothing. Is he expecting the sponsors to walk in his door waving ****ing money?

    Holy ****ing ****.

If this doesn't result in him being slung out of Brawn I don't know what will.

Breaking news: Henkel and Brawn mutually agree to drop court cases, no further action. "Brawn GP employees will assist with the prosecutor in determining what happened".

Read: Haug met the man from Henkel, both admitted they employed some muppet who shouldn't have been allowed near the building, and agreed to forget about it.

Yesterday's Petronas announcement was made by Norbert I notice, with a follow up from Ross. Not a word from Fry.

    Wonder why that is.

The Henkel "deal" was signed by Fry in May, before the Merc buy-in.

What's even more interesting is that Henkel reported the problems not to Brawn, but to Daimler in September. Given that Fry attempted to sue Henkel for the money in November, after Daimler were told "oi, your muppet is signing contracts put to him by a fraudster", could it be that Henkel attempted to tell Fry before september but were rebuffed?

    Schurely not offichser.
