Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was it really worth it?

As a Utd fan Henry was one of a very few Arsenal players from the 2004 era team that I really respected but now I would look upon him no better than any scumbag or druggie in the paper and sincerely hope that he suffers the full backlash that he deserves from this. You can go back from losing a cup and win it the next year but you cannot undo this and he has tarnished a near perfect reputation to hopefully be looked upon ten times worse than Drogba or Ronaldo (the much more frequent cheaters) are! So what I ask is "Was it really worth it Thierry?"

Taken from the bbc which I believe sums it up!
From anon via text on 81111: "I am a lifelong Arsenal fan and huge fan of Thierry Henry, but one of his greatest assets was his personality and honesty. I feel I've lost a lot of respect for a man I adored."

People need to cop on. If Keane or Doyle had of done it he would have been a hero. To put him in the same bracket as a junkie or scumbag is just a joke.

Id look upon his previous one with alot less respect now and they're very unlikely to win it!

Look, the reality is if it had been us that had of scored a replica goal we'd be happy and saying thats life. In any case we should have won the game before ET, Duff and Keane with glorious chances.

It was sickening what he did and hard to swallow tbh. However, McShane shouldn't come out of this unscathed. His defending as usual was shambolic.

I wouldnt go quite that far OP but Karma will catch up with Mr.Henry and take solacef from the fact that he will carry this with him for the rest of his living years, as a professional he knows he took te pi$$, pure and simple.
