Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi my original x360 developed the RROD so i sent it for repair, got a new one back (dated April 09) yet it doesn't play xvid/avi files. it comes up with the code above. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I have no internet available for the console right now. Any way i can download an update/fix to my memory stick and pop that into my xbox?

a quick Google and i came up with this

You'll get this error if you previously downloaded the media update on another Xbox 360 console (or if it's been repaired/replaced as in my case) with the same profile. You are only allowed to download the update on one console per profile. You can work around this by creating a temporary new profile with Silver membership to download the update. Once it's downloaded, you will be able to use the update with any profile.

    also

Delete the Optional Media Update in System Settings, Memory, Hard Drive and go to System Settings. After deleting this, play your video file again, it should prompt you to download the Media update again. Download the update and you're good to go!

i have not tried these fixs but from the google search it seems to work

You can download the media update as many times as you need to you just need to have an internet connection.
