Just wondering does anybody know of city centre shops taking on christmas staff this year? I know things are bad but surely temporary christmas jobs are still being advertised.

I have heard that most Dunnes are taking on seasonal staff, but nothing else.

Do you have a clean and full driving license?

Or better still, do you have your own car?

A lot of the shops don't seem to be advertising jobs on the internet - just instore. Anybody on boards working in city centre shops who can give a gauge as to how many CV's they are receiving regarding christmas temp jobs? - yano since half the country is now on the dole!

    Merchandising.

There are many companies looking for seasonal staff stocking shelves for the likes of Cadbury, Coca Cola etc etc

Contact them directly. GSK for example put an extra person in each van with the permanent guys just to get the work done.

    Long hours mind.
