Sorry if this is in the wrong place, there's no ideal forum to post about choral music :o
The North Dublin Community Gospel Choir was formed on 16th June 2009, a mere 6 months ago, and has already competed at the Sligo International Choral Festival earning a 2nd and a 3rd place in the competitions into which it was entered.
The musical director, Jonathan, over the last 7 years has had an awarding gospel choir which won many awards in the aims choral festival and navan choral festival on 4 different occasions and have been on RTE nationwide.

We are still looking for musicians and singers, men and women, to join us for more competitions and concerts as well as other events. We practice every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m in St. Paul's Church Ayrfield, just off the Malahide Rd (near Tesco's Clarehall)
The choir has been formed to reach out to the community and to be fun and lively. So anyone up for a challenge and wants to get involved who can sing or who can play an instrument please give it a go. Its absolutely great craic and honestly brightens up your week.
Any queries please contact Jonathan at northdublingospelchoir@hotmail.com

Hey guys, wanted to keep this updated!

We're still looking for members, and have plenty of stuff lined up 2010. All the details are in my previous posts and I'd urge you to get in contact if you are in anyway interested.
Remember you don't have to be Pavarotti, our main aim is to have some fun whilst helping others and making some great music
We are also now on Facebook so if you enjoy the music, you can become a fan of the choir and keep up to date with what we're doing
