Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Do you realise the work the mods have to do to run this forum? The effort that goes into it? Get off your high horse. TRO didn't like me but I can still see he did a great job and will be missed.

    Your comments do nothing, why bother!

    Moderation is a largely thankless task, and for me TRO was a superb mod, and I believe eze will be equally as good. Best of luck.

    First off congratulations to eZe^ on his appointment, IMO he is a credit to the forum and will make a great addition to the mod team. It made my decision a lot easier knowing there was somebody of his calibre willing to take the job on. He has a very steep learning curve ahead of him, regardless of the help he'll get from the other mods, so there'll likely be a bump or two along the way...please bear that in mind and give him a chance to bed in before you all rush off to Help Desk...:p

    Secondly, thanks a million for the messages of support. It means a lot to me to know that my efforts as mod were appreciated, especially from those of you who I bumped heads with repeatedly. If I'm guilty of anything it's that I allowed my experience with a small few posters to colour my judgement of the entire forum, and once I'd done that I found it harder and harder to motivate myself. Considering that, and the fact that I've over committed myself in other aspects of my life it was best for me, and best for the forum, that I stepped down and allowed someone else take my place.
